Butt im Griff

Der Butt im Griff (Halibut in Hand) is a bronze sculpture created by artist Günther Grass (1927–2015).
The sculpture stands 2.30 meters tall and depicts an arm whose hand grasps a halibut (in German, Heilbutt), symbolizing life experience and wisdom.

Der Butt im Griff was unveiled on July 29, 2004, by the Crown Prince Couple.
